Viva Jalisco started with one mission — to bring the true flavors of Jalisco's kitchen to Houston. Today, that mission hasn't changed a bit. We continue to serve authentic Mexican dishes made from scratch, sharing the traditions and flavors that started it all.

Roots in Jalisco

We call ourselves "Especialistas de la auténtica comida Jalisciense" — specialists in the real cuisine of Jalisco. That means carnitas done the traditional way, handmade corn tortillas pressed fresh, and bold, clean flavors.

More Locations, Same Tradition

What started as a single kitchen grew, neighborhood by neighborhood, into multiple locations across the Houston area. From the east side to communities like Tomball, Spring, and northwest Houston, each restaurant shares the same commitment to from-scratch cooking and authentic Jalisco flavors.

A Neighborhood Gathering Place

Regulars come back three, four times a week — for the carne asada tacos, the enchiladas, the jumbo parrilladas. We know your name, we remember your order, and we mean it when we say welcome back.

Open Every Day, All Day

We open at 6 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. (hours vary by location) — chilaquiles in the morning, sizzling fajitas at dinner, and everything in between. Whatever you're hungry for, we're here.
